In a few weeks we will have a new ROM which will fix these problems. Until then, here some things to try. - Change WinFax from Class2 to Class1
There are two ways of doing this. If you are using WinFax Pro, you can re-install the software and specify the Class1 driver. If you are using Pro or OEM versions, you can modify the WIN.INI file. Run SYSEDIT, and locate the WINFAX info in the WIN.INI file. Find the line which says FAX DRIVER = CLASS2 and change the 2 to a 1. This has worked for some people. - Use the patched version of MOD.EXE
This program allows WinFax and WinFax Pro to work with the current Roms (v1.00-E or <) of the SupraFaxModem v32/v32bis. It will NOT work with latter ROM versions. (v1.00-F or >) To find out what ROMs are in your modem, type AT I3[CR] from the terminal mode of a terminal program.
